Established in 2010, Pavones Surf Shop is a family-run business built on a deep love for the ocean, craftsmanship, and community. Located in Pilón, right next to the crossroads, we have grown alongside Pavones—one of the world’s most iconic surf destinations, famous for one of the longest left-hand waves on the planet.

Surfboards Made in Pavones & Custom Orders

At Pavones Surf Shop, we proudly shape surfboards made in Pavones, designed specifically for the local waves and conditions. Every board is 100% handmade by Randy Walker and Arelys Zúñiga using Costa Rican EPS foam, pine stringers, epoxy resin and regular fiberglass for performance, durability, and sustainability.

We build high-performance shortboards, smooth mid-lengths, classic longboards, paddleboards, and specialty designs. If you are looking for something truly personal, we also offer custom surfboard shaping made to your exact specifications.
