PROCESS OF SURFBOARDS

This E.P.S. foam is made here in Costa Rica. The foam is poured into blocks which are cut with a hot wire to the specified dimension and rocker. All scraps are then sent back to the factory to be recycled to make more boards. Stringers are milled from clear Pine which strength to weight ratio is far stronger than bass wood which is traditionally used in surfboards. Pine has excellent flex characteristics, the boards are glassed with normal fiberglass cloth, but using Epoxy resin. These boards are fiber glass, Epoxy fiber glass; don’t confuse this construction with sandwich boards These boards are extreme high performance and are 100% handmade
